I am trying to download the camera software to my Mac so that I can upload the photos and videos from my camera, but when it ask for my OS version it pops up as Ventura and there isn't that option to choose. I am stuck now I'm just trying to get everything off my camera

You can try using the macOS Ventura Image Capture tool. Another approach would be to use a USB SD card reader. By the way, I am able to use the (latest) Canon supplied software on my Mac mini (Intel) using Ventura 13.0.1 with my EOS R5.
