Free offer of DxO Oprtics 11 expires in less than 3 weeks.  This might be a saver for those that don't want to rent the new Lightroom.  It supports cameras including the 1Dx Mk II.  It is free for a short time.

It is at this address dxo.com/us/practicalphotography

I don't like DxO very much an don't go for their reviews much but this is free !  Smiley Happy

Thanks Ernie. I sent them the email and I'll play with it over the Thanksgiving break. I hear it is especially good at lens corrections.

Why do so many people say "FER-tographer"? Do they take "fertographs"?

DxO has a plugin that will let you transfer a RAW file from LR to DxO, edit it in DxO for as many options that you want and then export a TIFF back to LR for any further editing that you want.

You get LR DAM and RAW conversion in DxO if you like that better than LR.
