DPP link? - Latest version needed

Hello Everyone,

Simple question here... After reading a current thread regarding DPP software, it made me wonder if I have the latest version installed since my current version is a few years old, and nothing happens when I click "Check for updates" in the program.  I looked under Canon's main website under the "Software and Drivers" section, but could not find anything about DPP.  (I'm sorry, but Canon's menu system needs some help).  Can anyone point me to a link for downloading the latest version, please?

Thanks!!

Gary

Hi,

I'm not experiencing the issue you describe.  The menu appears to work fine.  Are you using Wndows or MAC?

If you want to see the version of DPP you have installed: Try Help > About to see the version you have installed. v.4.18.10 is the current version available for windows.  4.18.1 for MAC.

If your version is years old, I would uninstall the version I had, restart and install a fresh copy.

Thanks, Rick!

I don't have a problem seeing the current version on my Mac (which is 4.16.0).  I was simply not getting anything when I tried clicking "Check for updates" from the drop down menu.

I see what my problem was while searching.  I was simply looking for a DPP link from the general download area... didn't think I needed to go to a specific camera, then look for downloads from there. Thanks!!

Gary,

Glad it helped.  You are correct, DPP is not camera specific. Happy New Year.
