DPP Help with digital lens optimizer, seeking instruction manual

Mikeha

Hello, I am learning to edit and I am using the Canon DPP software. Can somebody tell me what this message means?

" Can not apply digital lens optimizer. Use the tool pallet to download lens data."

Also I have been looking everywhere for some kind of instruction guide for Canon DPP and can not find anything that tells you how to use this software. I did find some older YouTube videos but I would really like a full manual that covers everything about Canon DPP. Can somebody point me to a manual or guide that I can use to learn Canon DPP?

Added a picture of an edit I was doing and you can see the message on the left image.

What camera and lens? The message means that it needs the correction data for that particular lens to know how to correct for lens deficiencies. If you are using a third party lens, there may be none to download and you will have to turn off the lens corrections.

Manual found at the canon support site when I look for the manual for my camera:
