DPP 4 Print with detailed settings. Control printed image size and alignment

KjSchaudt
Apprentice
On Macs running Mojave, Big Sur and Sonoma.  Would like to use use the image size options in DPP Print with Detailed Settings (DPS) to control the image size and centering on the printed page.
The print shows correctly in the PDS window as shown here. Despite having the fill page option in the system print window turned off, the print covers the full page when routed to a PDF, an Epson SC-P600 or a Brother Laser Printer. This problem has plagued me since DPP1 and all Apple OS versions. Getting tired of creating fake page sizes to get around this.
Thanks for your help.

Just a thought and I admit I use Photoshop way more than DPP4 but upon occasion I do. Anyway I have noticed there are two places to do print settings. In PS there is one and also there is one in my Brother printer. You might look to see if one or the other is interfering or resetting the other. I have a control in PS that says "Allow PS to control printing" or "Let the printer control settings". BTW, it also has the same type setting for color. You have to select one or the other.

I use a large format Brother which is a fantastic printer and a Canon Pro-100 which is also absolutely fantastic.

My Pro 100 would make a gorgeous print of your Carol Bean Tree image.
