I just got EOS Utility running on Windows Mobile 10 on the Acer Switch 10!
1. Download the whole CD-ROM on a USB Pen Drive
2. Plugin the USB Pen Drive into your Acer Switch 10 Tablet
3. Install in the Desktop Mode the whole CD-ROM
4. Install the Update from the Canon Support Homepage for EOS Utility 2.
5. Restart the Tablet (ON/OFF, Reboot)
6. Download this archive:Windows 10 Fix/Patch
7. Extract the ZIP File over your EOS Utility folder content and replace all files.
8. Restart again and connect your Camera through Wifi, the EOS Utility should start on its own.
I tested this workaround on the Acer Switch 10 Tablet of a friend of mine. It worked like a charm, I am sure, that it works on ANY Windows 10 Mobile Tablet with Desktop Mode and a USB Connection possibility! This workaround ONLY works, if you installed the original CD-ROM and the official "EOS Utility 2.14.20a Updater for Windows". Follow the instructions and it will 100% work for you, too!
