Canon EOS Utility Or Canon camera Utility for Linux Mint

Is there any talk of a Canon EOS Utility Or Canon camera Utility for Linux or Linux Mint?

Sure would love to sever ties to Windoze, and stop maintaining 2 devices.

I know this cannot be the first time this has been asked, but Canon seems to ignore.

I have not heard any discussion on the topic.  Canon has never released any apps for the Linux platform, AFAIK.

I use Debian stable and not Mint, but have you tried https://github.com/gphoto/gphoto2

https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/gphoto2

https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/gphoto2

or https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/gtkam

I sometimes use rawtherapee for raw development and before I got an iMac, I ran a Windows virtual machine using qemu and the only Windows program I ran was Canon DPP.
