I'm using Camera Connect on my Android phone, and when I am in Auto Transfer mode, everything works fine. But if I click on "Open photo app" to see the photos saved to my phone, and then go back to Auto Transfer, I get a "Switching the Connection, switching to a faster wifi connection..." message, and it takes about 15 seconds to reconnect to the camera. Is there any way to maintain the connection between camera and phone when switching to view the photos on my phone?

Greetings ,
Are you running a pixel device with stock Android or another manufacturer's device with a skinned version of the OS? Samsung, OnePlus etc. I'm going to guess and say Samsung.

It's a Pixel 4a, Android 13.

Greetings,
Are you opening photos from the photos icon or from within the CC app? I'm going to try this in a few minutes with my set up. Pixel 6 same OS.
It looks like CC connect is disconnecting from the camera when you're opening photos. I'll see if I can reproduce the behavior

I was trying it from within the CC app. Thanks much for the replies, and please let me know if you get the same behavior.

Greetings,
Sorry for the late reply. It was my birthday this weekend. Did a bunch of testing. I have my camera paired for bluetooth and wi-fi. Pairing takes about 6 sec. My phone, a Pixel6 passes GPS info and I have the "use precise location" set in App permissions. I got the same "Switching the Connection, switching to a faster wifi connection". when performing a manual or auto transfer. You can view photos on the device or camera. I got the message when I switched back and forth between the camera and phone. 3-4 sec.
I also got it when browsing photos on the phone for an extended period. >30 sec. This might be a power related setting on the camera. I noticed the wi-fi connection timed out while browsing. The bluetooth connection remained persistent. I would get the message if I switched to live view shooting for example. It would re-establish connection in 3-4 sec. Let me know if you'd like me to test another scenario for you.
