Tokina Mount Adpater creating a ring on EOS R6 Mark II

NEED HELP!!!

I bought a Canon R6 Mark ii and had to buy a mount adapter to use my Tokina EOS lens 18/28 which I used to use on my old Canon 6D mark ii.

Now when I photograph, there is like a ring flair on the photos? WHAT TO DO NOW!

If it is a crop lens then how would the OP not have vignetting on the 6D Mark II. It is a Full Frame lens.

Can you post a sample image that shows the issue?

Do you have another camera to test with this lens?  Test without any filters or lens hood. Thanks!

Is this your lens?

I am almost certain it is the lens in the image I posted, which is an older full frame lens.  Even if it were made for crop sensor bodies, it would still use the full frame EF mount.  I cannot think of any third party manufacturer that actually uses the EF-S mount when the EF mount is sufficient.  Why make two mounts just for Canon bodies?

I have asked the OP to post a sample image of the issue, as well as the lens on another body without a hood.

Appreciate the response. There is a bit of a time difference. I'll post a photo of the lens we have in the office and the result we are getting. My boss is pissed at me and it's been a very distressing day. I'll surely update you in the morning . Thank you

We don’t need to see a photo of your lens.  Just confirm the full model number.

Wewould like to see a photograph that shows the issue, so that we can better understand your issue.
