I have found online (somewhere...) that the BR-E1 remote will let me shoot the Canon R5 in burst mode, but it seems it will only work with the drive mode set to 10 sec. delay. It is paired and I have been able to fire the shutter that way, but only single shots each time I press the shutter. Should it actually work in burst mode? I'm hoping for in electronic shutter at 20 fps, but first curtain sync would be better than nothing. Help!!

I don't think you can record bursts, but you *can* shoot time lapse:

Apparently it doesn't work for burst mode, but I found that the Canon Camera Connect app on my iPhone does -- and with what appears to be about twice the range. I can shoot 20 fps with it.

Bluetooth has a limited range. Wi-Fi is used to extend the range and faster data speeds
