Has anyone added GPS to a Rebel XTI? I see that Canon makes a GPS unit but I'm not sure if it works with my camera. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!!

The best place to go for these kinds of questions is the system map in the manual:
No mention of GPS - not surprising for a camera this old.
Your best bet is to get something that saves .gpx files (I use a Garmin Foretrex) and software on the PC to geocode. On the Mac, I use HoudahGeo.

The camera manual doesn't mention GPS, so I have my doubts that it supports an external GPS device.

Thank you so much for your input. I love the camera, but miss the gps function of newer cameras. I was hoping for an add on, but so it goes.

Even if you love your 1955 deSoto, don't be surprised if it does not have airbags.
