Hi,
Since many retailers marked the lp-e6nh battery as "discontinued", will the lp-e6p work with R6 gen1 body?

Yes you can use LP-E6P batteries with the EOS R6 (original / classic / gen1) with no problems. It is listed as a suitable battery in the manual.
