I kept my 600MM lens from old SLR... I have not used it for 25 years. I think it was for a Pentax (or Nikon).
And I just bought Canon Rebel T7... what adapter do I need to use my old lens?
update: the mount looks generally the same, with three tabs, but the tabs are of different size than the Canon.

Welcome.
That looks like a mirror lens - fixed aperture and manual focus.
This may work for you and you can return if it doesn't.

That lens mount lacks the electrical contacts required for it to work with your Rebel T7. There is no adapter that will let that lens fit on the Canon DSLR. It is probably best to sell that lens and get a Canon lens instead.

@WimpyWellington,
While adaption may be possible, why would you give up all the benefits of AF and aperture?
Retire it and buy a lens that will do the T7 justice.

re: why would you give up all the benefits
A compatible 600mm lens costs about $800. There are 800 reasons to try to keep using old lens.

re: Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter
I bought it! And I am somewhat successful in that I can put the camera into manual mode and I am able to take decent pictures!
But there is a small glitch. It turns out that the three tabs are not symmetrical nor equidistant from each other. The adapter can only go on the lens in one position. And the adapter can only go onto the camera in one position. The result is that the tripod mount on the lens is not aligned correctly to allow the camera to be horizontal. The lens does have adjustment to allow for landscape or portrait mode (see picture), but it only turns about a 1/4 of a turn which is not enough.
(the adapter was not that expensive. I am considering machining the lens side of it so that I am able to use the next tab to mount)
