No idea about compatibility, but there seem to be third party hybrid lighting gear that have both a continuous light plus flash. You'd have to check the relevant third party website to see what compatibility is for the EOS R.
Canon doesn't make any hybrid lighting gear.

Actually Yes. Canon did have the Speedlite 320EX which has an LED and a strobe. But this speedlite has been discontinued. In video mode the LED light serves as a video light. But in photo mode the LED light can be used as an AF Assist Beam depending on the ambient lighting. Other times Intermittent Flash Firing is used for AF Assist on an EOS R Series camera.
