Hi All,
I have canon 550D DSLR and recently I bought a wireless mic which I wanted to connect to the camera to record videos, however when I connect the external mic to the camera, no sound is getting captured. I can see the Camera has a 3.5mm slot where the Mic pin can be inserted. Any help to resolve this would be really appreciated. I tried all possible way to fix it but no luck.

What specific wireless microphone are you using? Is the receiver connected to the camera's 3.5mm mic input? What audio settings have you tried on the camera?

Is sound recording on in the menu?
I assume that you have your wireless mic receiver plugged into the external microphone jack on the camera. Also, your receiver will have to be self-powered as the external mic jack will not supply power to the receiver.
