Does the ER-SC3 fit on the R3

Hi, I lost my R3 hot shoe cover (ER-SC1) and was thinking of getting a replacement when I found about the new ER-SC3, would this fit on the R3? and would this solve the issue of it keep falling?

According to the pages of accessory compatibility on the Canon website both ER-SC1 and ER-SC3 will fit your EOS R3. Does it solve the issue of the cover falling off, I don't have the answer. All I know is that on the EOS R5 Mark II it can be a pain to intentionally remove the cover.
