I need a new battery grip for my SL3.  Does the Canon BG-E18 grip work with a SL3?

Hi David,

The Battery Grip BG-E18 will not work with the EOS Rebel SL3. That battery grip is made for our EOS Rebel T6i and EOS Rebel T6s camera bodies. We do not make a battery grip for the EOS Rebel SL3 so there is not one that we can recommend.

Well that is a BIG disappointment by Canon.  😞

Reading reviews of the SL3, it is touted as a real beginner camera, below the T-series Rebels for features and function a more-experienced used might want. Such a beginner isn't likely to want, or even know about, battery grips.Not so a manufacturer would build in the ability to use one and produce one.
