Does Canon OC-E4A Off-Camera Shoe Cord support Tascam's CA-XLR2d audio unit?

Hi, I have an R5C with theTascam CA-XLR2d audio unit for the multifunction hot shoe. Does the Canon OC-E4A Off-Camera Shoe Cord support the Tascam unit? Thanks. #canon oc-e4a

Yes the A in the product name OC-E4A is because it does support audio functions as well as flash, it’s basically a full extension of the 21-pins that are in the multifunction accessory shoe.
