CPS Neck Strap needed

How can I get a Replacement CPS Neck Strap? I've seen silly prices on eBay. As a CPS Member I thought I could just log in and purchase a New One.

I have never seen them available to purchase from Canon, which is why the silly prices exist on eBay.

Call CPS and ask the call taker if they'll send you a replacement. All they can say is no.

When I upgraded to Gold I got a nice welcome packet that included the CPS camera strap you speak of. That I wasn't expecting.

I'm afraid I don't have a good source either.  Neck Straps. 😨  They are literally a pain in the neck.  Especially after you put a decent lens on a body and wear it around for a day.    If you end up getting one, I hope its worth it.  Hopefully CPS can help.

I called CPS and was advised you can put in a request for a replacement strap however the call taker doesn't know if that request will be fulfilled.

He also stated that Optech makes the straps for Canon. I took a look at the camera straps and didn't see a CPS branded strap. I believe the CPS branded camera straps are proprietary to Canon.

It is an OpTech strap. They are proprietary. And they only give it out the first time. Renewals don’t get the perks.

No wonder people don't use them and eventually sell them on the Bay.

There is one on eBay for $38 and change or best offer. If you pass then you don't want one bad enough.
