All,
I have a EOS R6M2. From my Nikon days I have a AF VR Nikkor 80-400 mm 4.5-5.6D lens. Is there an adapter that would adapt this lens to my EOS R6M2? Thank you

There are several F => RF mount adapters but you will lose AF and depending on the adapter, lose aperture control. There is one made by Novaflex at $260+/- that will control aperture on F mount lenses. There may be more with manual Av capabilities, but that's as far as I looked. Still, you will end up with a lens you have to manually control.

A simple Google search will yield many third party F to RF adapters. Just be sure you get the right direction as there appear to be more articles (and adapters) for mounting Canon lenses on Nikon cameras than vise-versa.
You might wind up trying several adapters. I hope you're not expecting this to work well. That is unlikely, but hopefully you'll enjoy the experiment and find it satisfactory. It is definitely not mainstream.
I have no experience trying this - perhaps others do and will comment. I suggest that you read the many online reviews and gather experiences from others. You will have to properly set up your camera - turn on the ability for the camera to operate with no lens, expect no communication with the lens for autofocus, etc. Your lens seems to allow aperture to be adjusted manually and physical focus ring, which is what I would expect to your SOP for this scenario. Maybe you will get metering, but maybe not since the lens likely won't communicate with the camera.
Here's an old thread discussing mounting Nikon lenses to EF Canon cameras - some of it may be useful. https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/EOS-DSLR-Mirrorless-Cameras/How-to-use-nikon-lens-on-canon-body/t...
Good luck. Please keep us in the loop as to how it turns out.

FloridaDrafter and SignifDigits,
It was an idea. Probably bad idea. Hate to see a lens or camera set around collecting dust.

Cantrell,
You could get one of the cheaper ones and try it out and see how you feel about doing everything manually. That's the way all cameras operated until Minolta introduced the Maxxum 7000 (which I owned and was AMAZED by autofocus). I saw an adapter on Amazon that had decent ratings for like $33.
I think it's about managing your own expectations and what you're willing to do to see that particular lens get used.
Another option is to sell the lens and spend that on something you would enjoy more. I agree about not letting stuff go unused. And if you've got the time, energy and inclination to try it out and enjoy tinkering and that sort of thing, why not?

SignifDigits,
Thank you for the suggestions. See what I can find.
