I am considering the M50 and M52 camcorders as they both seem to rate fairly high. I am in a budget crunch, so I am considering purchasing a refurbished camcorder. Prices:
M50 - $349 - 8GB Internal Memory
M52 - $489 - 32GB Internal Memory
1) are refurbished units a good value?
2) which of the two models listed above seem to be a better deal? M50 would certainly require an SD card.
3) when are these two models likely to be replaced since they were introduced in early 2012?
Thank you

I bought the M50 refurbished. I will be adding a 32GB SDHC card. It appears that the M50 and M52 are in the process of being discontinued. I bought the refurbished M50 on sale for $279.99 at Canon.com
