I am looking at transitioning to the XF305 video camera from the XL-H1S that I am currently using. Before I make this transition I need to know whether there is a way to immediately playback footage onto a TV. This is essential since the video I shoot is immediately reviewed with no time to transfer to a computer or write to disc. Using DV Tapes has worked well, I just hand over the tape and it is played back right away using a Sony HDV Recorder/Playback device. Is there anything out there that I can hook up to a TV so I can simply hand the CF Card off to be plugged in and played back?

Hi BluesVideo,
Canon has not produced a device for reviewing movie files from the XF305 without the use of a computer.
Please let us know if we may further assist you.
