I have a Vixia HF S100 camcorder. When I record from my PA mixer into the mic input of the camera, the end result of the recording is distortion! I've tried everything I know and it is now up to a genius to help solve this. All help is greatly appreciated because I have another performance to record coming up soon. Thanks.

Greetings,
This is likely caused by the amplified output of the mixer. You can adjust the input using the in camera attenuator.
