Port of Canon ZR300 camcorder

I am looking to buy a Canon ZR300 camcorder ... what port and cable does it use to hookup to my computer? And what software do I need to hookup to Windows XP? Can I download it? Thanks.

Hi Utah333,

The ZR300 camcorder requires a firewire with a Special 4 pin connector (IEEE 1394 compliant) for the camcorder and a 4-pin or 6-pin connector to match the firewire port on your computer (A firewire to USB will not work).

For software, you may use the Windows Movie Maker built into Windows XP.
