Hi,
Just brandnew here and already a question.
How can I delete the red dot on the display when I am filming?
At the same time I am filming the cam is connected by the video-out on a big screen for direct eye, but the red dot is very troublesome.

I don't think you want to do that, if it could be cut off. There would be no way to know if the camera is recording, or stopped recording in the middle of your shoot. I've had camcorders for over 30 years, and they have always shown the red dot when recording. Every brand camcorder has this red dot to let us know the recording is working. Would you want the gas gauge removed from our car dash, that tells us we have gas to run our cars??? NO !!!!!
