Hi I have a Vixia HF200 camcorder. It works great, however I can't see any files on the sd card when put the card into my laptop. I believe a disc came with it originally that I used in my PC, but I don't use that anymore. I am using Windows 11. Thought maybe there was something I could download from the canon website, but couldn't find anything. Maybe I'm not looking in the right place?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The VIXIA HF200 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them Monday through Friday at 1-866-443-8002.
Hope this helps!

Does the SD card show up on Windows as a drive? If it does, are there no files on it anywhere?
If the card does not show up on Windows at all, see if another card does, and/or try your card on another computer.
Are you reviewing your files on the camera to make sure there is anything on it?

Yes the SD card shows up as D drive and it says Canon. I can see folders but not files. There's almost 2gig data when I check the properties. I can view on the camera.

If you can view them on camera, they must be on the card somewhere. You opened EVERY folder? Check the properties of every folder you see.

I got as far as finding a cpi file(?) D:\PRIVATE\AVCHD\BDMV\CLIPINF- which does show the date I last used the camera, Oct 18th.

Just on the off-chance the files became hidden somehow, click VIEW on File Explorer menu bar, SHOW, and check HIDDEN ITEMS.
Did you look at Properties of all folders to see where 2 GB of something is?.

I found MTS files and was able to view them through the media player.

Good. Now you know where the files are located on the memory card.
