I have read many reviews,reports etc. but none addres why is the M52 higher priced than the R32 .

the VIXIA HF M52 includes the latest technology incorporated by Canon in our camcorder line.  The VIXIA HF M52 includes several appealing features, like the larger, 1/3-inch HD CMOS PRO sensor, instant focus lens and the Mini Advanced Accessory Shoe.  While the VIXIA HF M52 is a capable performer, the technology and newer features in the VIXIA HF M52 reflect the price point.
