Recently pulled out old videos and trying to figure out how to output video to TV. I've been able to do this successfully for our Sony Camcorder but cannot find the right output and wires for the Canon ZR50MC. Can anyone provide any insight here?

What inputs does your TV have?
You probably need the special cable that goes from 3.5mm A/V to RCA jacks.
Unless of course, your TV has a Firewire input.

Hi ehtrusio,
Thanks for checking in with us. You can use the Canon STV-250 Stereo Video Cable to connect from the camera's headphone jack to the RCA ports on your TV. Another option is to use an S-video cable to go from the camera's S-video port to your TV's S-video port. Note that both RCA and S-video ports are older, analogue ports that are no longer available on contemporary digital TVs, so you may want to check with your local electronics store to see if they have an I/O box that works with those connectors and whatever ports you have on your TV.

I have yet to see a TV, even my new Samsung, that does not have a video input.
