G50 and elgato hd60s

Hello,

I can not for the life of me get these two products to work on a mac and OBS. I hook the same mini hdmi to a TV or computer monitor and it passes video.

Ive searched high and low to see if these two products will work together and i cant find an answer.

Is it best to get Magewell USB Capture HDMI Gen 2

And skip on using the elgato?

Ive change the frame rates and settings on the camera as directed, but i cant get anything but a black screen on OBS video capture.
