Canon xf100 zoom

Does the canon xf100 come equipped to handle a WIRED remote for zoom?

The infrared feature does not help since we are boomed and controlling from the rear.

The XF100 and XF105 do have a 2.5mm [REMOTE] terminal which you can connect a wired zoom controller into. It's labeled as port number 1 on page 14 of the user manual linked here: https://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/0/0300004500/07/xf100-xf105-im8-n-en.pdf
