Canon XA25 HD recording time of day timecode

Is it possible to record the time of day on free run as timecode on recordings on a Canon XA25 HD?

I need to sync 2 Canon XA25 HDs together to make editing easier and the only way i can think of doing it is for them both to record on free-run if they can use the time of day (clock).

Unless there's another way to sync them?

Go to time code running mode and choose free run. Therefore, the timer will continue running until you change that.
