I have a Canon Vixia HG-10, and it is not recognizing the compact power adapter. Due to this issue, I cannot connect the camcorder via USB to my PC as well. I also noticed that if I try charging the camcorder battery via the compact power adapter chord that the battery reads as only being perhaps 50% charged, this is even when I leave the battery to charge overnight.
Recently I purchased a Canon Battery Charger (CB-2LW) that plugs to the wall electrical socket, and I was able to recharge all my batteries. But even despite the batteries being fully charged they are still reading 50% + - on my camcorder.
Is anyone else having this same problem, or similar problem?
