Canon Vixia HF R800 HDMI output contains camera menu

I am trying to use the R800 as a streaming camera with a HDMI video capture device to USB on a PC.  Using OBS  it works but the output video contains the camera menu.  How do I delete it so I get just the video scene??

having this same issue, but don't see where to turn off all of the icons from the screen.  can you let me know how to turn them off

If you have the manual go to page 197 and 199 information on how to turn off output screen display.  also on page 199. if no manual go to cannon.com and download the manual
