Unfortunately, this is something that would require service, but the A1 is no longer in service life. It cannot be repaired by our Factory Service Centers anymore and replacement parts are no longer available. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this causes. We do have the Canon Loyalty Program that will allow you to trade-in your out of warranty and out of Service Life camera for a newer model at a discount. You can contact our Sales Team at 1-800-OK-CANON and ask for details!
