We're still shooting JPEG. Haven't yet "graduated" to RAW but need to consider it since memory keeps getting cheaper and there are situations, like this one, where it would be to our advantage.

Thanks, Robert. I did find those references in my manual, but still I don't see how the M-Fn button could change the problem. I've been on the phone with Tech Support and it looks like I'll be sending it in for service.
Jeff, two years later and I'm having the identical problem, same camera. I've searched but can't find instructions for the M-Fn button that make any change to the problem. Can you recall?
