For Windows 10 on a PC go to Control Panel and do a search for "Media Streaming Options". Turn on media streaming.

For Windows 10 on a PC, at least, go to Control Panel and do a search for Media Streaming Options. Turn on media streaming. Worked for me on a Canon PowerShot SX720HS.
