Canon sx720 only turns on if take battery out

My Canon sx720 only turns on if you take battery out and put back in but it loads up to the WiFi transfer menu. When I press the capture button it goes to normal then I power off the WiFi light is still onPlease can someone suggest

Thanks for replying I tried reseting I'll try again on holiday at moment so repair will have to wait many thanks for reply
