No. I did the setup as shown in the instructions. My image scan version is 1.1.1.When I dowloaded the software from the canon web site, it remains at 1.1.1. although it indicates newer versions on the web.
I use Mac OS X 10.12.2 operating system. I'm trying to scan a text document on a Canon Pixma mx922 printer, and would like to use OCR to covert to a Word document that can be edited. "Canon_for_life"
