problem with connecting EOS to mac book pro

My mac book pro (OSX yosemite , version 10.10.5 ), mac is showing NO CAMERA WAS FOUND when i connect my canon . i am using EOS 1100D.i installed all necessary softwarers provided by CANONpls help

thank you. but when i connect camera CAMERA WINDOW is opening automatically and giving the same message. thst no camera is connected.
