scan function does not appear in quick menu - MG2440 scan / printerIs there software available?

Is there software available which includes the scan & printer function in the quick menu? Have tried the website & downloaded what appers to be correct drivers & apps but no scan function appears in the menu

The problem still exists!!! now 2016 & software still doest'n install Quick Menu with scanner facility is this the usual kind of experience???
