Hi you all, I reported this problem to Canon late March, with details of problem (with new computers quicker usb) and got reply that new driver will be offered on April at some point. And now I can confirm that this thread problem is fixed, Win8&10...
I can confirm that this thread problem is fixed now, Win10 usb2&usb3, with newest Canoscan Lide -driver of 13 April, version 17.0.5 , so install it from Canon Support site and scanning works.
