I brought Panasonic LX100 after my Canon broken and unable to fix it. I threw away.

Congratulation! i am thinking about Panasonic LX100. My S100 no longer work b/c of shutter button and tried to fix unsuccessfully.  

Call Canon parts: 866-481-2569Request part CM1-7226-000 "FPC ASS'Y TOP" (Flexible Printed Circuit Assembly, top of camera)Cost is $18 with shipping. Direction you should go back to page 40, post 400. Watch out of the main connector. Goodluck.

I tried to contact Canon to see if they say anything. I don't know if they will fix it for free. Will let you know.

I did order the part CM1-7226-000. Tried to replace per direction, but it is death. I don't know if I slice in the connector incorrectly or not. Anyone has an idea. I should bring it to Canon for them to see.
