My Windows 7 Home version service pack 1 PC will not recognize my Canon Elura 70 camcorder. I connected to the camcorder via USB and Firewire connections and no luck. Please help.

Thanks VideoGeek for the suggestion. I don't have a Firewire connection on my Dell, but I'll look into buying a new card.
