You read the whole thread and understood what was the problem to my camera? After the repair it has worked flawlessly. I had to pay myself but the repair was not more than 180 USD which isn't too bad.

OK, Then I will answer myself  Battery charge makes a difference. With batteries fully charged it shoots faster. Also the AI Servo 1st and 2nd image priority settings makes a difference (focus vs release).
