I think Canon chooses not to include a built-in flash. Nikon is able to include in their ff D610 and D750.

It looks like a line from the mold. Probably the parting line from the mold.

Some would find EC in manual mode useful. I for one would like to see this in the 5D3 and 6D.  It's in the 1DX, guess that's one expensive point&shoot.
