I have 2 sd300s. The batteries are fine. The memories are fine. They can be swapped. Both take wonderful pictures. The camera with the defect will die when the switch is made to playback. Doesn't matter if not connected to a computer with the u...

Thanks for the reply. It would have to be on the main board. I swapped batteries and memory chips between both cameras.
