Canon Printer 7150 Error 1410

Am getting a Canon Printer 7150 Error 1410 regarding a printer cattridge that's been working fine.  Suddenly it's being rejected as not recognisable.  Put a new cartridge in and the same error message shows.   Does anyone know what the problem is?
