Sorry but the problem is not what the report posted says.It says it is a false contact that makes beleive the camera the battery is depleted when it's not.The battery actually gets depleted so the problem is not the described in the report.

If you just want it for pictures it is fine.Just have a spare battery at hand. Good luck!

Yes there is a solution, they released a new model. This one is forgotten.

Forget it fellows.This camera has already been forgotten, Amazon does not sell it anymore even at a huge discount.

The camera has already been discontinued, there is no other practical solution that carry several spare batteries. That is all, sorry.
