Oh my goodness. I didn't even read the message from Google when I created the app pass and realized it say 16 character password but included spaces. Why in the world would they include spaces?Anyway, that resolved it. Thank you again, @shadowsports!
I am not the OP but I am having an issue with my MF650C and using smtp.gmail.com to scan to email. Here are my settings and I have generated an app password in Gmail but I keep getting the error message.
