I reset the camera settings and it auto sets to Electronic first curtain. After resetting camera settings the shadowing has gone away. I do not have a flash attached to the camera.
OH WOW I totally typed out the wrong camera body. I am indeed using a R6 Mark II. I bought a canon brand control ring mount adapter EF-EOS R. The camera lens that I am using is a 50mm 1:1.8mm STM
